Gulmohar blossoms and one lovely blog award

Gulmohar blossoms are flaming red and they bloom in bunches so it looks like the tree is on fire. Well, hot enough to make you stop in your step on the road, get out of your car and start clicking away. That’s exactly what I did today. This just added to my blissful state which had commenced earlier when I found out that I’d been bestowed with the “One Lovely Blog” award. 🙂
I want to thank Dana of A Serene Scribe [http://serenescribe.wordpress.com/] for nominating me for the One Lovely Blog Award. This is my first award and I must tell you, it is such a great feeling to be recognized by a fellow blogger, especially one of such stellar grade. Thank you very much Dana!
Here  are the One Lovely Blog Award rules:
1. Link back to the one who gave you this award. [http://serenescribe.wordpress.com/]
2. Pass the award on to 15 other lovely bloggers. [ongoing]
3. Follow the person who sent it to you. [check]
The best part of this award is that I get to share it with other accomplished bloggers. For now, I’ve passed it on to five lovely bloggers. I will be following this up soon to complete the list of 15.

Please take a few moments to check out their blogs:

  1. Jon of Jon’s Jottings [http://jongame.wordpress.com/] who writes on a range of subjects: family, food, travel, and photography. I was particularly blown away by his posts, Movement in the city and Taking Photos.
  2. Aruna of Cotton candy clouds and bloody rainstorms [http://aruna1986.wordpress.com/]. Her mission is to take a picture every day and write a 5-7-5 haiku to express her thoughts about the photo.
  3. Vladimir Brezina of Wind Against Current [http://windagainstcurrent.com/]. His thoughts on kayaking and life are awesome.
  4. Drive Through Guy of life in the drive thru [http://lifeinthedrivethru.wordpress.com] tells very insightful stories about, well,  life in the drive thru :-). My favorites are: The blue car lady and A tale of two customers
  5. The travel diaries of Our traveling without moving.. [http://ourtravelingwithoutmoving.wordpress.com/] with spectacular images.
