Mehrangarh is magnificent. Set on a rocky outcrop that stands 120m above Jodhpur’s skyline, the fort overlooks the walled city
of Jodhpur, where most roofs are painted in an iconic shade of blue.
The fort has a museum that houses spectacular royal paraphernalia – palanquins, miniature paintings, furniture and armory
in exquisitely decorated rooms of palaces and villas.
The best part is of course the people here. Their warmth and geniality leaves you smiling.
