Statuesque

While traveling in Edinburgh, you sort of start taking it for granted that sooner rather than later you could be walking around a stately structure from another era.

Besides wowing, these prove excellent in guiding me around town. You know it’s so much more simpler to remember to take a left after ‘George’ or turn right at ‘Boer’. Can my GPS keep up with that! 🙂

Edith Cavell memorial, near Trafalgar Square, LondonStrange thing is that as I sift though my photos, I notice I’ve clicked a lot of statues when I’d been waiting for something or to get somewhere.. in queues, elevators..bus stops, train stations..the much needed lull to stand and stare.

You won’t be waiting alone in Mountain View, CA cal station. This guy will be there.
